After the midweek UEFA Champions League duel, Almere City FC awaited at the Yanmar Stadion not much later. For the first time in history, Peter Bosz 's team faced the Almere side. The coach looks back with satisfaction on the game which was won with four goals, from four different goal scorers.
That the team won by wide margins on Saturday night in Almere satisfied Peter Bosz. "This is what you all want. You know you play during the week as well as on the weekend and then you have to go full out again. If you want to be champions, you have to win games like this. We know that this is a game they know we had a tough game recently." The Head Coach felt that after the lost midweek game at Arsenal FC, the knob had to be turned immediately: "If you are fit, which we all are, then you just have to hit it."
Guus Til proves value
Peter Bosz was very appreciative of Guus Til, who secured a starting place again after a time away. "We played against a five-man defense. You know that there will be big spaces in which you come to play. For that you need runners, so a Guus," said the Head Coach, indicating that in doing so he was looking at the opponent. "I tried to bring in some freshness and with Guus you have a completely different player than with, say, Isaac Babadi."
The game was not always like in the last games states the coach. "I did think it was a 'weird' game where we didn't get to play football at times. I saw everyone slipping, so that will have to do with a somewhat bad pitch. Despite that, we were leading 2-0 at halftime." All five Eredivisie games have been won by PSV. In doing so, there is a content feeling about the game. "We have now played five games and only got one goal against. We have created a lot of chances."
