Peter Bosz and Joey Veerman addressed the media Monday night at the press conference ahead of the seventh game in the league phase. Bosz is surprised that Red Star Belgrade only has three points and stated that PSV needs one win to qualify.
Peter, are you in a valley?
"It's not a valley, but it's definitely a down phase. We have good players and the important thing now is to get back the feeling we had. Especially no panic football, penalty drills and other craziness. We have to continue as we were doing."
How have you tackled the past few days?
"Training is almost not part of it, because you have to recover. It's a lot of talking, watching images and analyzing. In doing so, we look at the bigger picture, which is why I think valley is too big a word. If you look at the whole picture, we don't have to stress, nevertheless we have to turn it around."
How do you estimate your chances in the league phase?
"I think we need three more points to make it to the next round. Tomorrow is the next opportunity to take them. I always say: when you get an opportunity in life, you have to take it."
How do you rate the level of Red Star?
"High, I'm surprised they only have one point yet, because they are doing great in their own league. There were games, against AC Milan for example, that they deserved more. Last game they recorded a great win over Stuttgart. We have to get our chests wet."

Joey, how do you get out of a slump as a team?
"Well maybe I'm too positive then, but I don't think we're in a slump. We haven't played well, but a valley I think is too big a word. In the beginning of the season the first games weren't fantastic either, but then you win and then you don't hear anyone about it."
But we can still speak of a lesser phase, how do you deal with that as a team? Do you notice that in the locker room?
"Sure everyone was cranky after the game, but the next day we were back on the field with fresh courage, knowing that we have another important game on Tuesday."
Have you perhaps rotated too much?
"You can't do anything else when you play so many games. So even if that were the case, we have little choice in that."
Do you still need to come in yourself?
"I've been injured for a long time, so it would be weird if I then immediately act at my old level. So that's definitely true, but I always want to do better in the first place. No matter how well or not well I play."
How important is tomorrow's match?
"Liverpool is the best team in the world right now, so the last match is going to be tough. So I assume that tomorrow we really need to get a good result. We all know it's a very important match."
