Kjell Peersman and Koen Jansen experienced a top night Monday in the match against Almere City. The two made their debut and immediately proved their values. Thanks in part to their efforts, the team won 5-1. The two left the match with a good feeling.
'This what you do it for'
After a long six-month injury, Peersman was finally allowed to make his debut. "I waited a long time for this," the goalkeeper said. "It was a tough time, but with all the help from PSV, my family and friends I managed to recover." The goalkeeper therefore sees it as a reward that he could now make his minutes for Young PSV. "This is the moment you do it all for. I am very happy that I could make my debut. I think I played well for a first time. So I am definitely satisfied."
Fantastic feeling
Koen Jansen also looks back on the match with satisfaction. "I am making my starting debut so there is some excitement involved," the midfielder says. "Saturday at training I heard that I was allowed to play. Of course I was very happy about it. I waited a long time for this. We played a good game and won 5-1 with two assists from me. I went into the dressing room with a fantastic feeling, until I had to sing a song," laughs the overjoyed Jansen.
