PSV Women did not overcome an early deficit in Amsterdam despite a strong second half. They lost 1-0 against leader Ajax. It is the second narrow defeat in a row in the playoffs.

PSV Women started the topper in Amsterdam slackly, leaving the initiative to the home team. Van den Bighelaar put her team ahead as early as the 11th minute by shooting from close range: 1-0. Goalkeeper Christ then had to work to keep her team from doing more damage. For PSV Women, the biggest chance came for Koopmans, who appeared only in front of the goal on a pass from Nouwen. However, the matchwinner of the previous edition had to deal with goalkeeper Sarasola. The halftime score was 1-0.
Strong from the locker room
PSV Women came out of the second half with renewed conviction. PSV made a strong presence in the Ajax half and put the home team under pressure. PSV did not manage to crown the good play with a goal and goalkeeper Sarasola kept her goal clean. PSV's Christ kept her team on their toes when Ajax made a quick breakthrough. PSV Women lose 1-0.
