After PSV previously presented Peter Bosz as the new Head Coach, suitable candidates have now been found for the remaining positions within the staff. Stijn Schaars is the latest addition to the foundation under the A-selection.
Stijn is thus moved on from the Academy, where he was in charge of Under 16. As a player, Stijn Schaars was active for PSV's main squad from 2013 to 2016. In that period he played 56 matches and became national champion twice. Now he returns as assistant coach under Peter Bosz.
As previously communicated, Peter Bosz Rob Maas will take with him as assistant coach. Tim Wolf and Abe Knoop will stay on as assistant coach and goalkeeper coach, respectively. They were involved in the same role with PSV 1 last season.
