Robine Lacroix has broken her metatarsal bone. The 19-year-old midfielder from Valkenswaard will be sidelined for several months and will soon undergo surgery. Despite this setback, Robine lets it be known that she is combative.
"For me, it's not the first time an injury has kept me sidelined for longer, but I'm positive about it. I'm going to focus completely on my recovery and I'm sure I'll come back stronger than ever," the young national team international said.
Robine sustained her injury in the sixth minute of the league game with Jong Telstar Women (1-2).
