In memory of former PSV player Rob Landsbergen, the Philips Stadium will be silent for one minute Sunday. Landsbergen died earlier this month after a long illness. He was 62 years old.

67 matches for PSV
Rob Landsbergen is 18 years old when PSV scouts him at RKSV Mulo. The almost two meters long striker is a great danger in the air and in Eindhoven, although he can also play defense, he becomes a battering ram. Between 1978 and 1984, Landsbergen played 67 matches for PSV and scored 10 goals. The strong striker did not win a prize.

Legendary PSV
It remains his favorite club after he left, and years after his career ended, he still plays in PSV's red and white. He does so with Legendary PSV, a team full of former players that is often invited to benefit matches. He also trained PSV Amateurs 1 for many years. In the spring of 2020, the Eindhovens Dagblad interviewed Landsbergen. In the newspaper, he explains that he has been suffering from Alzheimer's disease for some time. Two years later, Landsbergen dies. Besides PSV, he also defended the colors of Willem II, NAC Breda, Helmond Sport and Hyundai FC.
