Melanie Bross 's contract has been broken open and extended for two years. The left back, who recently played her 100th game for PSV Women, thus reaches another important milestone. She is now fixed until the summer of 2027.

Melanie Bross took her first steps toward a professional career at CTO Zuid, a training program that is now fully integrated into the women's branch of PSV. She made her professional debut in the 2016-2017 season at Achilles '29. After two successful years in Groesbeek, a move to sc Heerenveen followed, where PSV managed to bring her in in the summer of 2020. In her first season in Eindhoven, Melanie immediately wrote history: with the team she conquered the TOTO KNVB Cup, the very first prize in PSV Women's history.

The left back is now in her fifth season at the club. A period in which she says she has become a lot more mature. Both on and off the field. Still, playing for PSV remains a special experience: "You never get used to this," she says beaming after signing. "I am extremely happy that I can stay with this wonderful club for even longer. Our accommodation is great, we play good football and work very hard to join the top this season. It is absolutely my goal to one day become champion with PSV."

Reliable force
"Melanie has been a very reliable force for years," says Technical Manager Maud Roetgering. "With this extension we guarantee a piece of continuity. She knows the club like no other and we know what to expect from her. Moreover, as an emerging back she fits very well with the game we want to play at PSV. We are therefore very pleased that we have extended her contract by two years."
