Every day, the media report extensively on the ups and downs of PSV. The analyses of upcoming and played matches or funniest interviews that have appeared are collected and you can read them on PSV.nl.

On Dumfries, PSV can build
There was much praise again for captain Denzel Dumfries. The right back led the equalizer against Vitesse after he was brought down by PSV mercenary Armando Obispo. The ensuing penalty kick was flawlessly scored by Sam Lammers. "In my eyes it was a deserved penalty," he told FOX Sports afterwards. 'PSV owes a lot to Dumfries this season,' ED journalist Rik Elfrink said. 'Dumfries continuously radiates in word and gesture that he wants to fight for a PSV-worthy end of the season.' Elfrink added: 'For a moment it was not about finesse, but about fighting spirit and resilience. If the word 'Dumfries' were included in the Van Dale, the latter term would certainly return as a meaning.'

Viergever praises team
Nick Viergever praised his team's performance afterwards. "Before, the heads would droop or we would complain, but now there was a real team," the defender told the ED. After the opening goal by former PSV player Tim Matavz, the team fought their way back into the match. "After that, you see a better PSV. We were more steady on the ball and had good moments over the side. The win was deserved in the end," Viergever said.

Guti fights duels for PSV
With Jorrit Hendrix dropping out after half an hour of play, Erick Gutiérrez was called upon again. 'He had to be there against Vitesse and came out on top. Not with striking deeds on the ball, but by fighting out his robberies,' Elfrink writes. Nor did the match call for beautiful football. PSV eventually fought their way to the three points. "I stayed positive, even in the difficult moments," Guti said of his situation at the club. "I very much want to be important for PSV and do everything I can," the Mexican concluded.

Beautiful carnival
The mood was naturally high after Gakpo shot in the liberating 1-2. During carnival it is therefore extra festive for goal scorers and born Brabanters Lammers and Gakpo. "In the bus we're already going to make it a party," Lammers told Omroep Brabant afterwards. And whether he will go out? "There are a few other Brabanders, though, so maybe we'll go with a few guys." A purebred Eindhoven native, Gakpo may also be in attendance: "Real Eindhoven native huh, so one plus one is two."

'PSV suddenly has great appetite for Feyenoord home '
'Resilient. Resilient. Not giving up. Working together. Team spirit,' writes Maarten Wijffels of the Algemeen Dagblad about PSV's win at Vitesse. 'Words that were unthinkable just a month ago.' For example, it was a lot more fun for the team to sit in the dressing room after an away game, where carnival music could be heard. Wijffels also praises several PSV players for their body language. Dumfries in particular: 'He again tirelessly went on the attack in Gelredome and forced the penalty kick with such a rush.' Finally, they looked at the home game with Feyenoord with a slanted eye. "I believe Feyenoord have been unbeaten for 12 consecutive games. We are not that far yet, but we have also started a series now. And that does something to opponents. That's just how it works," interim coach Ernest Faber told the AD afterwards.
