For André Ramalho, the 5-2 victory over Ajax counted as his 100th game in the PSV shirt. The central defender joined PSV in 2021 and is now in his third season.
The 31-year-old Brazilian came over two years ago from Austria's Red Bull Salzburg. He was an old acquaintance of then Head Coach Roger Schmidt, who worked with André at Salzburg and at Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
Prizes
The central defender has been a valued force with the main squad again this year. In one hundred PSV matches, André contributed to five prizes: twice the TOTO KNVB Cup and three times the Johan Cruijff Schaal. In total, he scored four goals, all four of them in the Eredivisie. In addition, he gave the same number of assists.
