Young PSV recovered well from the defeat against FC Dordrecht. Pascal Jansen's team won 2-1 against FC Den Bosch in the Jan Louwers stadium. Goal scorers for the team from Eindhoven were Leemans and Maher.
Early goal Leemans
Under beautiful weather conditions, Young PSV started the match against their provincial rivals excellently. Already after three minutes Leemans shot a free kick into the top left corner. After the opening goal both teams had few clear-cut chances and gave little away defensively. After more than half an hour Maher had the chance to make it 2-0 via a volley; he shot hard over, keeping the score 1-0 in favor of the team from Eindhoven. After the miss, neither team had any more chances, allowing Young PSV to rest with a lead.
Goal Maher
The beginning of the second half resembled the first half in many respects: both Young PSV and FC Den Bosch stood well defensively, giving little away on either side. The first chances were for the visitors. After an hour of play, substitute Havar shot just wide of goalkeeper Pasveer's goal. Six minutes later, Khalouta scored the 1-1 through a scrimmage. After the FC Den Bosch goal, both teams went in search of victory. In the closing stages Alberto almost shot Young PSV to victory: his hard volley hit the crossbar. In the 83rd minute, Maher shot the ball in a controlled manner, giving Young PSV the lead again. Maher had a great chance to make it 3-1 in the final minutes. Keeper Heemskerk caught the shot, keeping the difference at one goal. That was all that remained, giving Young PSV the full three points at the Jan Louwers Stadium.
