Two goals by Eran Zahavi and one by substitute Noni Madueke proved enough for a three-point win on Sunday afternoon. PSV won 1-3 over Fortuna Sittard and can get ready for the topper against Feyenoord a week from now. 'I'm glad I can be there again,' Madueke said.

Madueke is happy
The English attacker, still only 18 years old, has not been around in recent weeks because of an injury. "I got injured at an unfavorable time," Madueke told ESPN afterwards. "Returning is often doing the same thing. Not playing games. It was annoying to get injured with so many big games on the schedule. I am very happy to be back and fortunately there are also two great matches ahead in the coming weeks," Madueke said referring to the duels with Feyenoord and AZ.

Madueke was decisive as ever. With the 1-3, he threw the game into the lock. "It was a nice goal and I'm glad I was able to help the team today," he said as he looked back at his hit on screen. "Winning and scoring goals, that's perfect. We will go for it to finish as high as possible this season."

Dumfries thinks victory deserved
Captain Denzel Dumfries thought PSV's win was deserved. "We had enough chances to finish it earlier," he said referring to criticism of his team's play in the second half. "At times we still suffered unnecessary ball loss, but we scored two nice goals. As often this season, there could have been more. We forgot to 'kill off' the game. After halftime, we then let it slip out of our hands a bit. We came a step too late everywhere," analyzed Dumfries, who enjoyed Madueke's comeback. "He scored a fantastic goal. That's quality."
