At PSV Campus De Herdgang, Young PSV salvaged a point against Roda JC after a good second half.
With the returning Amar Catic in the starting lineup, the team started the match with difficulty. However, it was the Bosnian who fired the first shot on goal, but he saw it saved by goalkeeper Muyters. There were few chances at either end. Young PSV threatened through Catic, but it did not lead to a goal. Roda JC did manage to score. In the 26th minute, after a failed shot, the ball landed at the feet of Ugbo. And the striker managed to pass Van de Meulenhof.

In the second half, Young PSV started strongly. Peter Uneken's team went in search of the equalizer and found it. After just under an hour the ball came to Ngonge via Daverveld and the Belgian striker shot low over the ground into the far corner. Roda JC then put more pressure on the Eindhoven defense, but thanks to good interventions by Van de Meulenhof, Young PSV kept their goal clean in the second half. Ngonge, Sidibe and Daverveld were dangerous in the transition, but none of them managed to find the net. Even in the closing stages, when Roda stepped up the pressure, the team held firm and deservedly took a point.
