Psv U21 won the city derby, also known as the mini variant of the Lichtstadderby, 4-1 on Friday night. At De Herdgang, Alberto, Paal, Jozefzoon and Rosario provided the goals for Young PSV. Paal will not soon forget his goal: the midfielder fired a beautiful shot from 20 meters. The victory keeps Jansen's team at the top of the Jupiler League.

Early deficit, clever goal Alberto
The many spectators present at De Herdgang did not see Young PSV get off to a good start on football Friday. After six minutes, Jansen's team was already behind by a goal from Deschilder. The pledge team struggled in the early stages of the city derby and created almost no chances. The first danger from Young PSV came after half an hour of play. Captain Gudmundsson sent Jozefzoon into the depths with an excellent cross. Jozefzoon shot well, but goalkeeper Swinkels saved easily. After the chance FC Eindhoven took over the initiative, but got no more big chances. Just before half-time the equalizer fell. Beto da Silva laid the ball wonderfully ready for Alberto, who finished in a controlled manner. Both teams went into the locker room with a draw: 1-1.

The second half was for the home team. Beto da Silva had a chance to give Young PSV the lead after only two minutes. His shot in the near corner was blocked by Swinkels. Two minutes later it was a winner, and how. Midfielder Paal fired a hard long-range shot from 20 meters. After the beautiful goal, the promising team went in search of the 3-1. Beto went close, but his shot went over. After more than an hour of play, PSV got the third goal they deserved. Jozefzoon scored his goal after a wrong ball was played back. FC Eindhoven was close to scoring the tying goal several times in the closing stages, but the ball did not go in. In extra time Rosario provided the final chord: he headed the ball into the net to make it 4-1.
