Psv U21 deservedly won the league match at De Herdgang against Young FC Twente 4-1 on Monday night.
Young PSV leads at halftime: 2-0
Young PSV faced the FC Twente U-tops on Monday evening. The game went up and down in the early stages and both sides created small chances. Young FC Twente was especially dangerous from reserves, but Jesse Bertrams kept his goal clean. Vloet opened the score for Young PSV after a nice pass from Marquet. Vloet shot the ball from distance into the bottom left corner: 1-0. Not much later, Young PSV set up an attack through the right side. Sanoh passed the ball, but it was not well cleared by Jong FC Twente. Ritzmaier was the incoming player and he lashed out: 2-0. Fully deserved, Young PSV went into the break with a 2-0 lead.
First win in 2015
The second half provided more excitement than the first half. Young FC Twente soon did something back. Miyaichi came inside and he cleverly curled the ball around Bertrams: 2-1. After 70 minutes the game became more exciting. Young PSV was dangerous on several occasions via a counter, but did not manage to extend the lead. Young PSV escaped the equalizer from Miyaichi, but his marker ended up on the roof of the goal. At the other end, the ball hit the net. Van Overbeek sent Sanoh away and he shot the ball unerringly behind the goalkeeper: 3-1. The best goal of the evening was yet to come. Hiljemark, who played the full 90 minutes, opened up on Ritzmaier, who launched Van Overbeek with some brilliant one-touch passes. The latter passed the ball to the run-in Vloet, who made it 4-1.
