After the sensational home victory over Go Ahead Eagles (1-0), Young PSV also won over MVV on Friday night. At De Geusselt in Maastricht, Pascal Jansen's team recorded a handsome 3-2 victory.

Victory secured after halftime
Young PSV visited MVV knowing that the Limburg formation had lost 1-0 to Helmond Sport in the first round of play. The home side opened the scoring after 16 minutes, Stef Peeters shot the ball effectively from 20 meters. The 1-0 score also turned out to be the score at halftime. With a splitting pass captain Clint Leemans put Sander Heesakkers alone in front of goalkeeper Jo Koppens in the 56th minute and the back coolly slid the ball in: 1-1. Ten minutes later, Leemans himself scored the 1-2 from 11 meters. The foul was Steven Pereira's on Aleksandar Boljevic, who had just come on for Moussa Sanoh. The same Boljevic secured the win in the 86th minute, despite Pieter Nys scoring another goal for the hosts. And so, the second game in the Jupiler League was also won by Young PSV and Pascal Jansen's team is now handsomely fourth with six points from two games. Next Friday, VVV-Venlo will be the guests at De Herdgang. The kickoff of that game is at 20.00 hours.
