Few to no chances
It took a while until the 803 spectators at PSV Campus De Herdgang saw the first chance of the match. Both teams stood well, preventing both Young PSV and FC Eindhoven from getting through. After half an hour of play the returning Gloster had a chance to make it 1-0, but the back hit goalkeeper Swinkels when he tried to pass the ball. Just before half time Young PSV got a penalty kick. Ngonge did not fail from eleven meters and shot Uneken's team into the lead.

Schoonbrood matchwinner
In the second half, the spaces were bigger, giving both sides more opportunities. It was mainly the away team that became more dangerous. Young PSV held out for a long time, but had to concede the equalizer in the 85th minute. It looked like the match was going to end in a draw, until the 93rd minute. Schoonbrood pinged past two men and very cleverly shot the liberating 2-1.
