In the busy final month of the season, FC Dordrecht is the next opponent of Young PSV on Friday night (20.00 hrs). At the Riwal Hoogwerkers Stadion, where PSV-1 won 1-3 a season ago, coach Pascal Jansen hopes his team will continue the advance of recent weeks. They will have to do so without the contributions of Ramon Pascal Lundqvist, Albert Gudmundsson and Jesse Bertrams.
Rommens
All are not fit enough to be part of the matchday squad. The team does include goalkeepers Lasse Mikkelsen and Luuk Koopmans, defender Menno Koch and striker Steven Bergwijn, who put PSV past FC Oss with two goals last Monday (3-1 win). Another notable name is that of Philippe Rommens. The younger brother of Olivier - who is also in the selection - has so far only played seven minutes for Young PSV. On Sept. 19, 2014, he came into the field shortly before the end against Sparta Rotterdam in a game the team eventually lost 2-0.
17 vs. 9
Friday night, Rommens may hope for a better result. FC Dordrecht, which played in the Eredivisie last year, is in 17th place four rounds before the end of the Jupiler League and has not won since February 19. PSV's pledges, for their part, are on the rise. They lost only three times after the winter break and have therefore climbed to the ninth position on the league table. A win at Dordrecht will even put them in sight of seventh place.
FC Dordrecht - PSV can be followed on Friday via @PSV on Twitter. A summary of the game will follow later in the evening on SBS6 and you can read a match report on PSV.nl
