Uneken's team lost 3-1 to NAC Breda on Monday night. Van de Meulenhof kept an excellent game despite the defeat. The goalkeeper made a number of brilliant saves.

Uitblinker Van de Meulenhof
The approximately 250 spectators saw few chances in the first 20 minutes on Monday night at the Jan Louwers Stadium. The first goal came out of nowhere. A corner that was turned away was followered by Ilic. After about half an hour the visitors had a few chances to double the score. Thanks to excellent saves by goalkeeper Van de Meulenhof and a ball on the outside of the post the score remained 0-1. Unfortunately the 0-2 fell a little later. Stokkers headed a cross in at the far post.

Hit by Sidibe not enough
Young PSV had to chase in the second half. The tying goal came fairly quickly. And what a goal it was. Sidibe rammed the ball into the crossbar from a distance. A beautiful goal. After the goal it went either way. Both teams had plenty of opportunities to score. A quarter of an hour before time Horvath was close to an equalizer. His attempt hit the post. Just before time the 3-1 fell. Van der Gaag shot in and decided the match.
