With Ruud van Nistelrooy at the helm for the first time, Young PSV performed well in Dordrecht. For almost the entire match, the promise team showed the right intentions. At the end, however, the team had to settle for a point.

Straight to the point
With 18-year-old starting debutant Aron van Lare, Young PSV started fresh in the new season. In the 17th minute, the first chance for Young PSV was a direct hit. Fodé Fofana came alone in front of the goalkeeper and coolly finished. After that it was not the home team, but Young PSV that increased the pressure. The ball went around easily in front of the Schapekoppen goal, although that did not lead to an extension of the score.

More deserved
Debutant under the crossbar Aron van Lare was unable to prevent a goal. Then FC Dordrecht immediately put pressure again, but starting debutant Mohamed Nassoh did not let himself get crazy and immediately opted for the ball forward. Young PSV took the initiative again. However, the team failed to reward itself, so the opponent almost started to smell more in the closing stages. Still, it remained 1-1.
