After MVV Maastricht-out and Jong FC Utrecht-home, the third match in eight days is scheduled for Young PSV. The team will visit Helmond Sport on Friday evening. Peter Uneken and his men need to win to keep in touch with the top of the right row.
Selection
Young PSV travels to Helmond with a 21-member squad. The team does so with Maxime Delanghe and Joël Piroe in the ranks. They have joined the team from the A-selection. Compared to the game against FC Utrecht there are few changes. Tijn Daverveld will not be present against the provincial opponent, which is the case for Jeremy Antonisse, Jenson Seelt and Fedde Leysen.
History
The last three duels fought in Helmond were all won by Young PSV. PSV's pledge team last suffered a loss at its neighbor fifteen kilometers away in the 2016-2017 season. Last season, the match ended in 2-3. Robin Schoonbrood and Sekou Sidibe (2x) then scored on behalf of Young PSV. If Uneken's team wins Friday night, it will create a six-point gap with the Helmonders.
The kickoff of Helmond Sport - Young PSV is at 21:00 at the SolarUnie Stadium. The match can be followed live on FOX Sports 4 and the switching program on FOX Sports 1.
