Young PSV will play Helmond Sport on Monday night at De Herdgang. The duel between the numbers thirteen and fourteen of the Jupiler League starts at 20:00.
Pascal Jansen will have to do without the suspended Boris Cmiljanic and Clint Leemans during the game with Helmond Sport. Cmiljanic, who made his comeback on March 7 after long injury, received a direct red card during the game against Telstar. Leemans received his fifth yellow card of the season in the same game. The coach of the promising team does have Menno Koch, Adam Maher and Steven Bergwijn at his disposal.
Eyes on playoffs
Remond Strijbosch's team is already five consecutive games without a win and is one place below Young PSV in the league. If the Helmonders want to stay in contention for the playoff places, only a three-point win counts. However, the Jupiler League club is struggling with personnel problems and will be without Heerings, Kerk (both suspended), Van Nuland, Vicento and Koot (all injured) tonight.
The earlier duel between Helmond Sport and Young PSV ended in 4-2 earlier this season. Young PSV faced a 2-0 deficit at halftime, but Bergwijn equalized soon after halftime. However, Helmond drew the longest straw, after 80 minutes the final score was on the board: 4-2.
