Psv U21 lost the home match against NAC Breda. At the Jan Louwers Stadium it was 0-3 for the visitors. At PSV, Arnaut Groeneveld made his debut in professional football.

Goalless first half
Psv U21 took on NAC Breda on Monday night. After 45 minutes in the Jan Louwers Stadium no goals were scored. Both teams mainly got chances from standard situations, but were unable to find the net. Psv U21's best chances were for Boljević and Loof. Boljević headed in after 15 minutes of football, but his shot whirled just over NAC goalkeeper Ten Rouwelaar's goal. Moments later, it was Seuntjes on behalf of NAC who tested Koopmans. The PSV goalkeeper got his fists to the ball and was able to turn it into a corner. Loof had the best opportunity for Young PSV. From a free kick he headed just wide of the goal. The visitors from Breda took the initiative in the closing stages of the first half and created a number of opportunities. Yet they were unable to pass Koopmans. Without a goal, both teams returned to the dressing rooms.

Debut Groeneveld, NAC treacherous
At the start of the second half, the visitors increasingly sought to attack and Young PSV were forced back. After 52 minutes the visitors took a 0-1 lead. Ars headed a cross onto the inside of the post and in the rebound Suk was able to shoot the ball in. Young PSV could not escape the pressure of the visitors. Sloppy finishing prevented the Breda team from doubling the score. After more than fifteen minutes in the second half, PSV's first chance came. Cmiljanić shot over the NAC goal from outside the penalty area. At the moment that Young PSV started to play more forward the visitors struck. In the switch Seuntjes was sent away and he slid the ball under Koopmans: 0-2. Just before time Young PSV also got their third goal. Brands stepped up from the spot and shot: 0-3. At PSV, Arnaut Groeneveld made his debut in professional football. He was substituted for Sanoh in the last quarter of the match.

This Friday Pascal Jansen's team will play the last home game before the winter break. Almere City will be the opponent at sports complex De Herdgang. The kickoff is at 20.00 hours.
