Psv U21 has talents back against Volendam

Young PSV will travel to Volendam on Friday with a considerably broader squad than the one that was available against Jong Ajax on Monday. Several players who missed the first game after the winter break are back on for the match against the number four of the Keuken Kampioen Divisie.

Training camp
Tijn Daverveld, Justin de Haas, Richard Ledezma and Claudio Gomes joined the PSV 1 squad again this week. Noni Madueke is being kept with the A-selection for the time being and therefore will not be there tonight.

Start
Young PSV had an excellent start of the new calendar year on Monday. With some debutants, the U23s played a nice draw against Ajax, which is leading the Keuken Kampioen Divisie. The same goes for FC Volendam. The team is managed by former PSV player Wim Jonk and won four of the last five games. Against Young PSV, Jonk's team failed to win. At PSV Campus De Herdgang, Peter Uneken's team was too strong 3-1 earlier this season. In April of the year 2019, the last meeting in Volendam, was also won by Young PSV: 0-3.
