Young PSV easily dealt with FC Oss on Monday night. In a game in which Ramon Pascal Lundqvist made his comeback after months of injury it became 0-3. In the first half, play was stopped for a while due to defective light poles.
Dominant Psv U21
After an uninspiring opening phase, Young PSV took control of the game from the 15th minute. From that moment on, the team combined more and more as if it was a feast for the eyes and it was no coincidence that the 0-1 came about that way. In the 19th minute Nikolai Laursen found the net, after a good attack via Sam Lammers and Mauro. Shortly after, Haar's team could have increased the score through first Lundqvist (cross) and Lammers (post and side-netting), but both lacked some luck in finishing.
Quenched light poses no obstacle
Shortly before halftime, the lights of the Frans Heesen Stadium suddenly went out, causing both teams to go to the locker room early. After a twenty-minute delay, the game resumed. In the seven minutes remaining in the first half, Lammers missed a penalty kick. After consulting with the referees, both teams decided to start the second half immediately, and in the 63rd minute Lammers doubled the score after an individual action. After that, there were plenty of chances to increase the score, but only substitute Donyell Malen was successful: 0-3.
