Two goals by Sam Lammers helped Young PSV to victory over FC Dordrecht. The striker scored his 13th and 14th goals of the season Friday night in Dordrecht, leading Young PSV to a 2-3 win.
Early deficit
In a wintry Riwal Hoogwerkers Stadion, where it suddenly started snowing heavily half an hour before kick-off, Young PSV faced an early deficit. After 7 minutes, Daniëls outsmarted the hitherto untested Jurjus with a placed shot from distance. Four minutes later, Lammers undid that goal. The striker hit a beautiful shot from distance into the top corner: 1-1. Because of the heavy snowfall, both teams went to the dressing room immediately after the equalizer. Fifteen minutes later, Dordrecht and Young PSV resumed the first half, but no goals were scored.

Crazy quarter
In the second half, little significant happened for a long time. Neither team really got a grip on the other. Until the 64th minute, when Verreth put Young PSV ahead with another beautiful goal. The Belgian appreciated a cross from Gudmundsson by signing for 1-2 with a hard volley. But even this score was not long-lived. Just five minutes later Thomas took advantage of an error in judgement by Jurjus to slide the 2-2 into an abandoned goal. Lammers immediately corrected the equalizer by nodding in the next best attack to make it 2-3.
