With a win over RKC Waalwijk tonight, Young PSV could easily climb to third place in the Jupiler League. After last week's win over NAC Breda, Psv U21 occupies fifth place. Numbers 3 and 4, FC Volendam and MVV Maastricht, await tough away games on Friday night.

Period title
The Maastricht side, who have one point more than Young PSV, play SC Cambuur in Leeuwarden at 8 p.m., while FC Volendam (two points more) travel to Breda. At the same time, Young PSV will take on RKC Waalwijk at De Herdgang. Earlier this season, the encounter between the two teams ended in a 1-1 draw, which was enough for Psv U21 to win a period title.

Selection
Goalkeeper Hidde Jurjus joins the pledge squad. Sam Lammers and Dante Rigo return from commitments with PSV under 19. Matthias Verreth has hamstring problems and is therefore not present. In addition, Joël Piroe and Justin Lonwijk join Jansen's selection.
