PSV Women will play against ADO Den Haag on Sunday. For Shanique Dessing a reunion with her old team. The attacker was in fact rented last season to the current number nine of the Azerion Women's Eredivisie.

How do you like your return to PSV?
"Good, I'm happy to be back. I did miss it here last year. We are also doing very well now, so that is also extra nice."

Looking forward to the game Sunday?
"Yes, it will be a fun match. My old team, that's kind of special. But we will go for the win."

So also seeing a lot of old acquaintances, does that make it extra fun?
"That's kind of funny. Nice to see them again, but also a little separate. Some of them are good friends of mine, but you just have to win from them."

But that's no reason not to?
"No, absolutely not. No matter how much I like them, haha."

Last week a nice win over Excelsior Rotterdam. Against ADO Den Haag again?
"Well, it's not that simple. ADO is a tough team, so they are not easy to beat. They are indeed about as high as Excelsior, but it's never a piece of cake. We also have to keep ourselves from thinking that, that's the biggest pitfall."

They may not be that high, but next opponents AZ and FC Utrecht are. After those two games, is it really clear where you stand and what the goal will be?
"Yes, I think so. If you win those games, then you strike a nice blow, but it's still a long way off. And the game against ADO Den Haag we also have to win first."

Prior to the game against sc Heerenveen, coach Roeland ten Berge said the first goal was to join the top and then look beyond that. Has that goal since been adjusted?
"Then I fully concur with the coach's words. We are doing very well, but the season is still long so we are looking at it from game to game."
