Four PSV Women players are in Colombia for the World O20 Championship. Veerle Buurman (18), Emma Frijns (19), Robine Lacroix (19) and Fleur Stoit (20) have received a call-up. Monday, Sept. 2, the World Cup begins for them with a pool match against Costa Rica.
The players of Orange O20 left for the South American country on Tuesday. The first game of the championship will be played on Aug. 30 and the final is on Sept. 22. PSV's players will not have to miss any league games. The Azerion Women's Eredivisie does not start until September 29. The Dutch O20 will first play a practice match against Paraguay on August 26.
