Nina Nijstad, Chimera Ripa, Gwyneth Hendriks, Renate Jansen and Veerle Buurman drew 1-1 against Norway with the Orange Lionesses yesterday. The point was enough to qualify for the 2025 European Championship.
The Orange Lionesses needed to draw to maintain second place. In the 61st minute, a direct ticket to the European Championship was still in danger when Norway took the lead through Graham Hansen. Ten minutes before the end, Vivianne Miedema headed the redeeming goal into the ropes.
With these five players, PSV is the main supplier of the Dutch national team. However, none of them came into action against Norway.
