A number of PSV players will be in action for their national team this international period. PSV is represented in the selections of (Jong) Nederland, Belgium, Argentina and the United States. Four PSV Women players are in action at the World Cup O20 in Colombia.
Orange
Jerdy started the UEFA Nations League well with the Dutch national team. The midfielder started at the Philips Stadium at the kickoff of the Netherlands - Bosnia and Herzegovina. Oranje won the game 5-2 and Jerdy played 82 minutes.
Young Oranje
Ryan Flamingo won 5-0 against North Macedonia with the Dutch Junior Team on Friday night, meaning the UMPs only need one more point to qualify for the European Championship in Slovakia. Ryan started in the starting lineup and played the entire match.
Belgium
Johan Bakayoko signed with the Red Devils for the first win in the UEFA Nations League. The Belgian team defeated Israel 3-1. Johan started on the bench, but was substituted in minute 82. Tonight the opponent is France. At 20.45 hours the ball will roll in Lyon.
Argentina
Goalkeeper Walter Benitez won last with Argentina 3-0 against neighboring Chile. Walter watched the entire match from the sidelines. Tomorrow night Colombia is the opponent. Then Argentina can strike a big blow in the fight for a ticket to the World Cup, Colombia is a direct competitor.
The United States
Malik Tillman and Ricardo Pepi lost 2-1 to Canada with the United States. Malik appeared at the kickoff as a left winger and Ricardo entered the field as a pinch hitter in the 82nd minute. New Zealand awaits on Sept. 11. Like the match against Canada, this is on a friendly basis.
Orange Under 20 (v)
In the third group match of the World Cup, the Orange O20 faced title favorite North Korea. With all four PSV Women players in the starting line-up, the team unfortunately failed to win (0-2), but the Orange O20 did qualify for the next round. The victory over Costa Rica and the draw against Argentina provided enough points.
