National coach Ronald Koeman has called up Guus Til for the Dutch national team. The midfielder replaces Juventus player Teun Koopmeiners, who appears to be unavailable for Orange's matches against Hungary and Germany due to physical discomfort.
Guus made his debut in the Dutch national team on March 26, 2018, also under Koeman's reign at the time, in an away game against Portugal (0-3 win). In total, the PSV player has five internationals behind his name. His last international dates from June 2022, then against Wales (1-2 win). Koeman is now rewarding 26-year-old Til for the good performances he is putting in PSV coach Peter Bosz's team this season.
After playing two home games in September, two away matches are scheduled for the Oranje this month. The Netherlands meets Hungary on Friday, Oct. 11 in Budapest and three days later the match against Germany awaits in Munich. Both games start at 8:45 p.m.
