The stadium in which PSV will play its sixth and final game in the Europa League group stage tonight is Aspmyra Stadium. It is the home of FK Bodø/Glimt and was completed in 1956. The club itself was founded in 1916.
Fortress
Since Bodø/Glimt moved into the stadium, it has played a number of legendary games at Aspmyra Stadium with the highlight being last year's 6-1 Conference League victory over Italy's AS Roma. The 2-0 victory over Scotland's reigning national champion Celtic, can also be included in a list of legendary matches.
First encounter
PSV will play for the first time in club history against the Norwegians, who are led by coach Kjetil Knutsen. Since 2017, Knutsen has been head coach of Bodø/Glimt, with whom he has already managed to achieve several successes: a championship in 2020 and 2021. Yellow and black are the traditional colors of the club FK Bodø/Glimt, but you don't immediately see that when you look at the stadium. There is room for more than 8,000 supporters in the stadium. Tonight this number will also be tapped, as the match against PSV is completely sold out.
Watch live
On the artificial turf at Aspmyra Stadium, Ruud van Nistelrooij's team will be looking for three points. Those points can still ensure group victory, should Arsenal lose points at home against FC Zurich. Want to stay up to date?
