Maarten Gozeling (54) replaces physiotherapist Rob Ouderland (57) on PSV's medical staff as of Jan. 1. Gozeling comes from AZ, where he worked as a physiotherapist for more than 13 seasons and as head of physiotherapy since 2006.

Ouderland from 2014 at PSV
The change has come about because Ouderland has chosen a new challenge. He will start work as head of physiotherapy at the Qatar Football Federation. "An opportunity I didn't want to miss," responded Ouderland, who joined PSV a year and a half ago. "Every day I enjoy coming from Amsterdam to De Herdgang, but this is a unique opportunity, in all respects. I had a wonderful time at PSV. The championship was of course the highlight for me as well, but I also look back on the cooperation with my colleagues and the players with great satisfaction. Qatar is a developing football country. There is a World Cup coming up there and I am looking forward to using my experience and expertise to contribute to further professionalizing football there."

Gozeling: 'PSV absolute top '
Gozeling is switching to Eindhoven with great enthusiasm after a long period in Alkmaar. "I had a great time at AZ, but this is a wonderful new challenge for me. The opportunity to work in the absolute top of the Netherlands has been decisive for me to make this step," Gozeling said.
