PSV advances to the quarterfinals of the KNVB Cup tournament. After the match, there are mixed feelings among the PSV players. The victory is pleasant, but the game could have been better. The players react at ESPN.

Veerman
Joey Veerman was the man of the match with a goal and an assist. He is quickly adjusting to PSV. "I'm satisfied with the goal and the assist, but our play shown could be better," the midfielder said. "Telstar got out from under the danger nicely, it was difficult to play football. Fortunately, I showed my good side. The adjustment to the new team is going well. The training sessions are going satisfactorily and I feel fine in Eindhoven.

Gakpo
Cody Gakpo came on in the second half to add some extra danger. PSV stepped up a gear and the lead eventually fell. "We didn't make good use of our chances, so we made it unnecessarily difficult for ourselves. We had to put our house in order and we succeeded. In the second half we created more chances, but of course they have to go in. Now we can focus on the next round and Sunday's match. That's the most important thing right now."

Zahavi
After two months of recovery, Eran Zahavi made his first minutes again. "I'm happy to be back, this was an important day for me," the striker reflected. "Everything is going in the right direction. I've had two good months of rehabilitation. I still have to find my rhythm, it's not easy, but every time I'm on the field I'm happy. I never stopped training. It would have been even nicer if I had scored, but hopefully I can do that the next game.
