Cody Gakpo played in front of the home crowd for the last time this season. The Eindhoven native was loudly chanted by the crowd for much of the 90 minutes. After the match, he reacts to the performance.

Still disappointed
We started well, which was very strong. It was a good result for the last home game. At halftime we knew the score in Amsterdam. That affects you and then the game becomes different, but in the end we won. That is what counts. Still, I am disappointed. In the end you don't become champion and it goes in a nasty way, that doesn't feel good.

Schmidt
For Roger Schmidt, it was the last game as PSV coach at Philips Stadium. Gakpo looks back well on the cooperation with the head coach. "Happy with the good cooperation with the coach," the striker said. "I like working with him. He is very clear and brings a lot of intensity to the team. The team has learned a lot from him and so have I."

Appreciation
At the end of the match, supporters held up several banners to honor Gakpo, which he certainly took away with him, "It was a very nice gesture from the fans. I did have to go and sign an autograph. It's very nice to feel this appreciation."
