Young PSV took a point from the away match with Fortuna Sittard. In Sittard it was 1-1 thanks to goals by Jordy de Wijs and Ferry de Regt.

Young PSV started in Sittard with Sven Blummel and Laros Duarte, among others, in the starting lineup. There was also the official comeback of Florian Jozefoon, who is in the final phase of his rehabilitation project. He needs to become match fit again and was given 90 minutes to do so at the Fortuna Sittard Stadium. Coach Pascal Jansen, on the other hand, left Clint Leemans, Hjothür Hermannsson and Olivier Rommens, among others, on the bench. Jansen further welcomed Alexander Boljevic back to the matchday squad. The Montenegrin, who got his last minutes played at the end of August, had not yet returned to action. Boljevic suffered an ankle injury during an international period.
De Wijs and de Regt
The devil was in the closing stages of the match. It was defender Jordy de Wijs who opened the scoring in the 86th minute. A minute later, however, it was tied again. Jesse Bertrams was unable to turn away a shot sufficiently, giving Ferry de Regt the opportunity to score the 1-1. That was all Limburg could do.
