Led by Ruud van Nistelrooy, Young PSV played a 1-1 draw against FC Emmen at the JENS Fortress on Friday night. The 70-time international was the final manager at Young PSV this evening as part of his paid football coaching course.

For over an hour the spectators had to wait for the first goal, which came from FC Emmen striker Rick ten Voorde in the 61st minute. Fifteen minutes later Young PSV equalized. Sam Lammers was sent away by Kenneth Paal and his cross came via an FC Emmen defender to the feet of the completely free Steven Bergwijn, who simply worked the ball behind goalkeeper Dennis Telgenkamp. During that action the striker got cramp and had to be replaced after a few minutes of treatment. His replacement was named Albert Gudmundsson. In the last fifteen minutes both teams continued to fight for victory, but no more goals were scored.
