On Friday night against FC Emmen, Young PSV will be looking for revenge. The team of coach Pascal Jansen lost the last two matches successively against FC Volendam and Sparta Rotterdam 3-0 and hopes to recover in Emmen. With a win, Young PSV will join the top of the league table.

Psv U21 in large middle ground
After six or seven rounds of play - because there are 19 teams in the league, the Jupiler League has a disproportionate competition flow - there is not yet too great a turnover between the teams in the league. Only FC Volendam and Sparta Rotterdam seem to really stand out at the moment. From the number three, FC Eindhoven (13 points) to Helmond Sport (number thirteen with 8 points), the difference is small. Young PSV is neatly in between with 9 points from six duels. A victory after two defeats is welcome to stay at the top, because after a great start with three wins in four games, the previous two games caused a small setback.

FC Emmen
Opponent FC Emmen has one more point than the pledges, but it should be noted that the team from Drenthe also played one more game. With those ten points, FC Emmen is in fifth place in the Jupiler League. A win for Young PSV in Emmen will therefore bring the team towards the top of the second professional level in the Netherlands. Last year's match ended in a minor way for the pledges. On Aug. 22, 2014, Young PSV had nothing to contribute and FC Emmen won 5-0. Later that season, Emmen also won in Eindhoven (0-2). Thus, Young PSV clearly has something to put right in the JENS Vesting of the Emmen players. The match starts Friday evening at 20.00 hours. A report will follow later on PSV.nl. Via Twitter (@PSV) the club will keep you up to date on the standings.
