Denzel Dumfries was disappointed Sunday night after the 1-1 draw against FC Twente. He felt that there was much more potential against the Rotterdammers. 'You just have to win here.
Dumfries said so afterwards in front of FOX Sports' camera. For an hour he dominated with PSV, which piled up chance after chance but just as often failed to score. "We created enough moments to make the game dead. When you get so many chances, a few more should hang around," Dumfries said.
The captain did not want to point the finger at PSV's attackers. "No, I don't want to put it that way. We are a team and as a team we can do better," he took issue with his teammates. "I really didn't expect them to score anymore. This is costly point loss, I'll tell you that honestly. Let's just say we have to learn from this."
