Jeslynn Kuijpers, Nadia Coolen and Sara Yüceil have extended their contracts with PSV Women. The players signed their new contracts Wednesday afternoon at Philips Stadium in the presence of general manager Toon Gerbrands.
Jeslynn Kuijpers
Kuijpers, captain of PSV Women, has played for PSV since the women's team was founded and is the current record holder. ''Miss PSV'' has played 145 duels for the club so far and has extended her contract by two years. ''It's great that I have been able to extend again at this club. Next season will be slightly different with a new coach. I am curious how it will go, but I am sure there will be a strong group again,'' said the 22-year-old Kuijpers.
Nadia Coolen
Attacker Nadia Coolen signs on for one season. Together with Kuijpers, she was part of the creation of PSV Women. Coolen has played 125 PSV Women games so far. Kuijpers and the 23-year-old Coolen have been buddies since the beginning. ''It's a nice feeling to sign a new contract. I'm really very happy with that. It's also special to do it together with Jeslynn. We have been playing together for a long time and also work together for the PSV Foundation. I hope we can continue our friendship for a long time at PSV'', Coolen concludes.
Sara Yüceil
The Belgian midfielder has extended her contract with PSV Women by one season. The 29-year-old Yüceil transferred from France's Olympique Marseille last summer and made a big impression in her debut season. So far, she has started every game in the starting lineup and in 16 games she has scored two goals. ''I am very happy with my contract extension. I am ''happy'' at PSV, I feel good here and therefore sign another year,'' Yüceil said.
