PSV recorded its biggest home victory over FC/ADO Den Haag in the 1987-1988 season when it won 9-1. At that time Ronald Koeman (2), Hans Gillhaus (2), Anton Janssen, Erik Gerets, Søren Lerby, Eric Viscaal and Gerald Vanenburg scored the goals for PSV. Leo Schellevis saved The Hague's honor just before time.
Shivering with ten men
Last season, PSV won 1-0 against ADO Den Haag. On Nov. 1, 2014, Memphis (49') scored the only goal of the match. PSV played an hour with ten men, as Jorrit Hendrix received a red card in the 29th minute.

The home game with FC Den Haag in 1975 was the championship game for PSV. Willy van de Kerkhof, Willy van der Kuijlen and René van de Kerkhof scored on behalf of PSV which won 3-1. Rob Ouwehand scored the Hague goal.
