PSV has opened up and extended Tygo Land 's contract. The 18-year-old talented midfielder has signed a commitment that ties him to the club until mid-2029.

Tygo came to PSV in 2022, which acquired him from his then employer sc Heerenveen. Land joined the Under 18, but soon moved on to Young PSV. He excelled with his ball retention, game overview and passing between the lines. Early this year, the Peize-born creative was rewarded with a permanent place in the A-selection. Since then he has played three times for PSV 1, in which he was good for one assist.

"The past year has been really great and I am incredibly proud to be signing a new contract now," Tygo says while signing his new deal. "It's all going so fast that I can hardly keep up. I'm going to give everything to further develop myself during training and matches, because eventually I want to become a defining player here. In the future, I want to help PSV further to ensure that it becomes an even bigger and more beautiful club than it already is."

That makes him a player with a lot of potential. We were eager to move into the future with him. So we have struck an important blow and I am extremely happy with that."
