Psv U21 midfielder Tim van den Heuvel will stay with PSV longer. The 19-year-old left winger has signed a contract that ties him to PSV until mid-2026.
Tim is entering his 11th season as a PSV player. The young box-to-box midfielder has officially been with Young PSV since 2023-2024. This football year he appeared in action in eighteen league matches. In those, he found the net once. Tim is known within the academy as a clever player, who reads the game.
All-rounder
It took a while before Tim started acting in the midfield. The Weathersmith played successively as left back, left outside, striker and right outside. "It wasn't until the O15 that I played in midfield for the first time. There I prefer to play as number six or eight. Those are the positions that best suit my all-round qualities," he said in an interview from February.
