PSV has extended Moon Pondes 's contract for another year. This again includes an option for an additional term. The 23-year-old goalkeeper joined PSV's women's side last summer after a brief social interlude.
After six seasons with PEC Zwolle, Moon decided two years ago to focus on a social career in special education. After a call from PSV last summer, she changed course and the former youth international returned under the crossbar. Where the initial focus was on getting fit quickly, Moon soon completed the goalkeeping trio with Lisan Alkemade and Femke Bastiaen.
Confirmation
Moon made her signature in the presence of Technical Manager Maud Roetgering, who is pleased that the goalkeeper is extending. "In recent months Moon has confirmed that she is a valuable addition to the selection. We are proud to continue the cooperation and curious to see where it leads."
Moon is looking forward to extending her period at PSV. "I feel good here and can fully focus on football because everything is taken care of to perfection at the club. Every day I enjoy being on the pitch to get the utmost out of myself and my teammates. We are growing as a team and can still achieve great things together."
