Midfielder Laura Strik has extended her expiring contract for two years. In the presence of Technical Manager Maud Roetgering and Manager of Women's Football Sandra Doreleijers, the signatures were added to the new commitment.
With this, the 27-year-old Laura Strik is going for a new, long-term partnership with her PSV. Strik began her professional career in 2014 at PSV/FC Eindhoven after advancing from CTO Eindhoven. After three seasons, she left for sc Heerenveen, where she emerged as a regular in midfield and captain. In 2020, Strik returned to Brabant, where she initially faced many injuries. In recent seasons, the athletic midfielder, who excels with her running ability, has become a reliable force in Eindhoven.
Whereas last May Strik, who also holds a bachelor's degree in applied mathematics, was extended for one more year, the two sides soon reconvened. With her contract extension, the midfielder is betting on seven seasons at PSV. This makes Strik one of the longest-serving PSV players in the selection, "I am very happy and grateful to extend here. At the club I have everything at my disposal to get the most out of myself. As a team we have started the way up again and we continue to work hard to achieve great performances."
