Gwyneth Hendriks 's contract with PSV Women has been broken open and extended for three years. The central defender is the captain of both PSV Women and Young Oranje. "I believe in that we will win prizes," the 23-year-old talent explains her choice to remain loyal to PSV Women.

Gwyneth Hendriks made the switch from ADO Den Haag to PSV in the summer of 2022. In no time at all she grew to become a captain and a base force. Since then she has played 42 matches in the PSV shirt, 28 of which as captain. Gwyneth also played in the spotlight for the Dutch Junior Team, where she played fifteen matches, also as captain.

Technical Manager Maud Roetgering sees Gwyneth's contract extension as an important step for PSV Women. "Since her arrival she has developed fantastically. We are very proud and happy that Gwyneth is signing on. Both on and off the field she is a mainstay within the team. In addition, she fulfills an important role within our vision for the future, which makes this extension all the more important."

Rewarding trust
With a big smile, Gwyneth signed her new commitment. "I am proud to sign such a long contract with such a beautiful club. That shows confidence and I hope I can reward that in the years to come," she says. As befits a true leader, she looks to the future. "We have progressed football-wise and have shown that we can keep up with the top of the Netherlands. I believe we will win prizes."
