Psv U21 took the lead in Oss after twenty minutes, but did not manage to keep it. The home team scored three goals and Peter Uneken's team went to Eindhoven without any points.

Left flank
After ten minutes of playing time, the first big Eindhoven chance was for Jeremy Antonisse. The fluent outfielder broke away from the Osse defensive line, passed the ball low to Fode Fofana who just failed to tap in. Shortly before that Ismael Saibari had another chance, he was in free shooting position in the TOP Oss penalty area but his shot was blocked just in front of goal. After twenty minutes there was another danger from the flanks. This time it was Fredrik Oppegård. He managed to put a low cross perfectly into the feet of Fofana who could easily finish, 0-1. It became free play on the left flank and Saibari and Oppegård managed to make things difficult for the home team with cross after cross. Robin Schoonbrood found Antonisse with a clever through pass, but he was unable to stop goalkeeper Geens. TOP Oss came back before half time. A shot from distance deflected off Maxime Delanghe, 1-1.

Lightning start for TOP Oss
Immediately after the start of the second half, the home team took the lead. Delanghe had to come out of his goal to defend but this was spotted by the TOP Oss attack. The ball was spooned over the Belgian, 2-1. Ten minutes later, the pain intensified. In a scramble in the Eindhoven penalty area, Shurandy Sambo fell against an Osse player. The referee saw a foul in that and TOP Oss scored from the penalty spot. Kristófer Kristinsson tried to reduce the margin with a hard shot but he pounced on the Osse keeper. The Icelander later got it right. Ten minutes before time he cleverly headed the ball behind the Osse goalkeeper, following a pass from Cheick Touré. Mees Kreekels was a hair's breadth away from the equalizer but headed wide. Young PSV became dangerous in the closing stages, but no comeback was possible. 3-2 was the final score.
