Head coach Phillip Cocu was satisfied with the first half after the 1-0 win, but less satisfied with the second half. "At halftime I complimented my team, but the longer the second half went on, the worse it became," he said.

'Club record indicates something'
"
I was very satisfied with the first half, I said that to the boys at halftime," clarified Cocu, who also complimented the way PSV got to 1-0 and then waited for the 2-0. "But the longer the game went on, the worse it got. It simply wasn't good enough after halftime. Fortunately we win, that's what matters. Tomorrow we'll look at the things that could be better." The win gives PSV a new club record: 22 home wins in the Eredivisie in a row. "It indicates something. We have to make sure there are a few more games to come."
