Psv U21 has won the city derby with FC Eindhoven. Coach Pascal Jansen's team won 2-0 at De Herdgang thanks to two goals by striker Boris Cmiljanic.
Cmiljanic scores
Without the last-minute substitute Bergwijn, Young PSV got off to a good start against their city rivals. Cmiljanic put his team ahead as early as the 5th minute. The long striker of Young PSV was left completely free by the FC Eindhoven defense at a corner kick and the Montenegrin gratefully took advantage of it: 1-0. Strengthened by the goal, Young PSV went in search of more. Boljevic was the closest to a second goal. He cut in from the left side of the pitch, looked for the far cross but put the ball just a bit too high, leaving it 1-0. On the other side, defender N'toko had the biggest chance not much later. However, his header was an easy target for goalkeeper Pasveer.

After halftime, Young PSV continued to go on the attack. In the opening stages of the second half they were dangerous through Rommens, who shot narrowly wide from long range, and Beto da Silva had the ball to nod in, but he found the hands of Swinkels. The most striking moment of the match, however, took place on the other side. To prevent a goal, Pasveer had to turn a wrongly played back ball by De Wijs with his hands, whereupon referee Berben could do nothing but whistle for an indirect free kick in the Young PSV penalty area. The eleven Young PSV players on the goal line were still able to prevent a goal. Cmiljanic then decided the game three minutes before the final whistle by effectively finishing off a beautiful cross from Beto da Silva: 2-0.
